 Smaller, yet bigger than expected... May 08, 2011

I'd like to give 4.5 stars. It's not perfect, but it's probably as close as I'll get and still have portability.
I wanted a zippered 5.5x8.5 binder, and this is the most reasonably priced. What is not mentioned anywhere on the Amazon page, is that ring size on this one is 3/4 of an inch. That's pretty small. The standard is 1 and 1.5 inch rings. Strangely though, the outer dimensions are larger than many of the 1 inch binders I saw in the stores... Maybe that is a function of the zipper.
The magnetic outer flap holds a pad of 5.5x8.5 notepaper as well as credit cards. The pen holder here is too small to be of use, but that isn't an issue since there is plenty of space left in the zippered part for pens to roll around freely.
There is a side pocket inside the zippered area which is long enough to hold business letter sized envelopes as well as odds-and-ends papers which don't fit anywhere else.
The binder comes with the following items:
Tabbed blank monthly calendars
Samples of the 2 page per week
One pad of notepaper
One business card insert
One plastic pouch insert

I love this planner. I actually bought it at our local office store and then was looking for a beach calender insert when I found it on Amazon for about $20 less! I returned the other one and bought it here. It fits in my medium/large size purse, holds everything I need and more. I love the flap on the front which gives me quick access to take notes. I would recommend this product.

I bought this to help with my ADHD. So far, it is helping me keep my life organized. I love how it feels and I love writing in it. I did have to purchase extra pages for it. It has a section to write long notes for the day and a section which has a quick-look calendar.

Needed a day planner to keep up with my parents Dr. Appointments and what was said in the Dr. Office this works very well but is just a little large. I am very happy with it over all.

Years ago, these dayrunner books used to be wildly popular. Everyone had one and you could buy all sorts of refills at any store. Nowadays, everyone carries computer-type organizers. I don't. As a result I wanted to buy a new dayrunner. I couldn't find this product at any of our local discount stores so I bought it online. It's just as I remembered but with some caveats. The cover is a cheap plastic and got sractches on it almost immediately. Also, it is very hard now to refill the pages. I went online to the dayrunner site and pages that used to be available are now discontinued. That being said, for those of you who still do not carry portable electronics around, this is a wonderful product. You will use it all the time for your appointments. It will arrive quickly, without tax, and without shipping charges. You can't miss.
