I bought this for my high school chorus teacher as a thank-you present from the entire chorus. When she read the little booklets that were included with the music box, she was very touched and moved by it. When she opened it and read the message inside, she was on the verge of tears of joy. The quality is beautiful; the delicate porcelain and golden accents make the music box very sophisticated and elegant. I highly recommend this as a present to a very important teacher.
Also, the music box plays the first two lines of "Wind Beneath My Wings," for those who are wondering how much of the song it plays.

Beautiful and unique way to thank a great teacher Jun 01, 2011

I purchased this two year's ago for my grandson's 2nd grade teacher. She was so wonderful and he learned so much from her. It is a beautiful gift and one that a "great" teacher will appreciate. This year he has another deserving teacher, so I will be purchasing this product again.

This item was given to my sister in-law for christmas. I thought it was a beautiful piece, and the music box adds a classic touch. Initially it was hard to open, but atleast the clasp works!
